Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Lead Senior Civil Engineer - Solid Waste Engineering in Texas, covering Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas. Lead project teams delivering civil and environmental engineering for waste management facilities, permitting, and fieldwork.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Texas PE license, 10+ years of experience, and strong leadership. Occasional overnight travel and a commitment to safety and QA/QC are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with Texas PE registration.
• 10+ years of post-education experience in civil engineering design.
• Experience in waste containment systems, permitting, landfill gas, and master planning preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Direct project design teams and large solid waste projects.
• Prepare engineering design reports and QA/QC programs.
• Lead contract negotiations, presentations, and client meetings.
• Support growth and pipeline development for Civil Engineering work.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure project delivery within budget and schedule.
