WSP is seeking a Lead Senior Civil Engineer - Solid Waste Engineering in Texas to lead project teams on civil and environmental projects involving waste facility design, permitting, and operations planning. The role requires directing QA/QC programs, managing budgets, and coordinating with regulators and clients across multiple Texas locations.

The ideal candidate has a B.S. in Civil Engineering, a Texas PE license, and 10+ years of related experience, with proven leadership and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field with Texas PE registration.
• 10+ years of post-education experience in civil engineering design.
• Experience in design/construction QA for solid waste containment systems and permitting.
• Engineering license and strong communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead project design teams and direct large solid waste projects.
• Prepare engineering design reports and budgets for projects.
• Oversee QA/QC programs and safety compliance across sites.
• Develop proposals and pursue new project opportunities.
• Mentor junior staff and lead discipline initiatives.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and clients on project approvals.
