Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a technically skilled field technician to support maintenance and operation of utility-scale PV power plants in Hubbard, TX. The role focuses on monitoring through SCADA, commissioning, testing, and repairs of PV inverters, modules, transformers, and metering systems.

Candidates should have at least 1 year in a related role, with a high school diploma (college/technical degree preferred).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College or technical degree preferred.
• Equivalent training in military, utility, or power industry a plus.
• 1 year of experience in a related position.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV plant operation via SCADA and perform commissioning, testing, and inspection.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and modify AC/DC solar PV systems and components.
• Maintain safety and environmental procedures on site.
• Complete CMMS work orders and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
