Job summary

Energi Connect seeks a Regulatory Compliance Manager to lead all regulatory activities for a growing solar and storage fleet in the United States. You will oversee NERC/CIP compliance, manage filings with FERC/EIA/ISOs, and coordinate with internal teams and external regulators.

The ideal candidate brings 4–7 years in energy regulatory compliance, strong Excel skills, and a proven ability to navigate fast-moving environments and multi‑stakeholder initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 4-7 years of regulatory compliance experience within the energy sector
• Background in solar operations, reporting, or market participation strongly preferred
• Demonstrated experience with NERC compliance
• Familiarity with EIA reporting and federal energy regulatory filings
• Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a structured compliance program covering all operating facilities
• Manage regulatory filings and submissions across federal and regional agencies (NERC, FERC, EIA, ISOs/RTOs, transmission owners)
• Direct external NERC consultants and oversee internal NERC/CIP compliance activities
• Track regulatory changes and evolving market rules affecting solar and storage operations
• Conduct internal audits, gap assessments, and compliance risk evaluations
• Recommend corrective actions and process improvements
• Partner with development, engineering, operations, and asset management teams to ensure compliance from project onboarding through long-term operations
• Support creation and updates of compliance procedures, documentation, and internal controls
• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and market operators
• Ensure all required reports are accurate, complete, and submitted on schedule
• Deliver compliance training to internal stakeholders
