Zusammenfassung

SOLV Energy is seeking a Quality Specialist to measure and monitor construction quality across multiple utility-scale solar sites. The role requires conducting random sampling inspections, identifying discrepancies, and driving continuous improvement in installation practices.

Located full-time on a jobsite in Herald, CA, the candidate will liaise between field teams and corporate, uphold company standards, and support trend analysis through data and NCRs.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of experience in solar EPC or utility-scale construction quality control.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and QA/QC protocols.
• Familiarity with solar installation methods and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, ASTM).
• Proficiency in inspection tools, reporting software, and digital documentation.
• Ability to travel frequently and work independently in field environments.

Aufgaben

• Conduct site inspections and random sampling inspections at active solar project sites.
• Travel to active solar project sites within the region to perform inspections.
• Evaluate installation and process quality across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical scopes.
• Verify compliance with project specifications, drawings, and industry standards.
• Document discrepancies and non-conforming work; generate NCRs with findings and recommendations.
• Maintain inspection logs and quality documentation.
• Communicate inspection results and quality trends to project teams and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with Quality Control and Construction teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
• Provide inspection results data to Regional Quality Manager and QA team for trend analysis.
• Assist in onboarding field personnel to quality expectations and contribute to training.
