Job summary
SOLV Energy, LLC is seeking a Quality Specialist to monitor construction quality on utility-scale solar projects. This full-time, on-site role based in Flagstaff, AZ involves random sampling inspections, documenting discrepancies, and driving corrective actions with project teams.
You will travel to active project sites, verify compliance with NEC/IEEE/ASTM, and collaborate with Quality Control and Construction teams to improve installation practices. Prior field QA/QC experience is essential.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication across field teams and stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and QA/QC protocols.
- Familiarity with solar installation methods and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, ASTM).
- Proficiency with inspection tools, reporting software, and digital documentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform site inspections and verification across DFOW during construction.
- Travel to active solar project sites within the region.
- Evaluate installation and process quality across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical scopes.
- Verify compliance with project specs, drawings, and industry standards.
- Document discrepancies, generate NCRs, and maintain logs.
