Job summary

MasTec is seeking a Solar Laborer to assist in assembling and installing solar PV systems on roofs and structures. You will work with the Solar Technician to lay out, assemble, and install modules, racks, and support structures according to plans and safety standards.

The role emphasizes safety, on-the-job mentoring, and collaboration with other crafts. Candidates should have basic PV knowledge, strong teamwork, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication required.
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Experience as a laborer or helper in construction PV work.
• Developing knowledge of PV system assembly and maintenance.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist Solar Technician in assembling, installing PV systems.
• Lay out, assemble, and install solar modules and racks.
• Follow safety policies and participate in pre-job safety discussions.
• Operate hand and power tools in accordance with codes.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site.
