Job summary

MasTec, Inc. is seeking a Solar Installer to assemble, install, or maintain PV systems on roofs and structures in accordance with site plans. You will lay out and mount modules, apply weather sealing, and verify system performance upon activation.

Responsibilities include adhering to safety policies, using hand and power tools, coordinating with crews, and keeping records of operation and maintenance. 2 years in PV or related construction is required; must be 18+.

Qualifications

• Read and understand plans and specifications.
• Visualize two dimensional drawings in three dimensions.
• Follow directions and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Install photovoltaic (PV) systems using drawings, schematics, and instructions.
• Layout, assemble and install solar modules and support structures.
• Activate PV systems to verify performance and conformity.
• Maintain records of system operation and maintenance.
