Job summary

Mortenson Construction is seeking a Solar Laborer I to assist with preparation, handling and supplying materials for the solar craft teams. You will load and unload equipment, support solar panel install, rigging, racking, torque tube assembly and pile layout in a construction setting.

The role requires ability to use power and manual tools, strong teamwork, and a willingness to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction preferred.
• Ability to use power and non-powered hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, and jackhammers; forklifts, skid loaders, and power buggies.
• Strong teamwork orientation; positive attitude and professional customer service skills; detail orientation; active listening skills and effective communication, including an openness to diverse input and feedback.
• Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements.
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.
• Position duties may change without notice.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Prepare, handle and supply materials to be used by other crafts.
• Solar panel install.
• Rigging.
• Racking assembly.
• Torque tube assembly.
• Pile layout.
• General cleanup and debris removal.
• All other duties as assigned.
