Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Solar Laborer I responsible for preparing, handling, and supplying materials for other crafts on sun‑powered projects. The role includes loading/unloading materials, rigging, racking assembly, torque tube work, pile layout, and site cleanup; a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork remains essential.

Experience in construction is preferred, with familiarity using power tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction preferred.
• Ability to work with power and non-powered hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, and jackhammers.
• Strong teamwork orientation; positive attitude and customer service skills; detail orientation; active listening and communication.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Prepare, handle and supply materials for other crafts.
• Solar panel install.
• Rigging.
• Racking assembly.
• Torque tube assembly.
• Pile layout.
• General cleanup and debris removal.
• All other duties as assigned.
