Job summary

Origis Energy is seeking a Contractor - Solar PV & BESS O&M Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair utility-scale solar PV and energy storage systems. You will work with AC/DC components, monitor via SCADA, and ensure safety protocols are followed on-site in Hamilton, TX.

The role requires independent work, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs while documenting activities in CMMS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; electrical certifications preferred.
• Experience in large-scale solar O&M or similar electrical maintenance.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and operate SCADA/CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on AC/DC systems including inverters and PV modules.
• Monitor plant operations via SCADA and assist with commissioning and testing.
• Follow safety protocols (JHA/LOTO) and maintain accurate maintenance records in CMMS.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and support maintenance tasks as needed.
• Coordinate with remote operators to resolve site issues efficiently.
