Job summary

Origis Energy is hiring a Solar PV & BESS O&M Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair utility-scale solar PV and energy storage systems. The role requires understanding of solar operations, with independent work while following safety procedures to improve site efficiency.

Responsibilities include inspecting, maintaining, and repairing AC/DC systems, monitoring via SCADA, ensuring safety compliance, and documenting activities in CMMS. Travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; electrical certifications preferred.
• Experience in large-scale solar O&M.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and operate CMMS/SCADA.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on AC and DC systems.
• Monitor plant operations through SCADA and assist in commissioning and testing.
• Follow safety protocols including JHA and LOTO.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and support maintenance.
• Lead and mentor junior technicians as needed.
• Maintain maintenance records in CMMS.
