Job summary

Origis Energy is seeking a Contractor - Solar PV & BESS O&M Technician to maintain and repair utility-scale solar PV and energy storage systems. Responsibilities include inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of AC/DC systems, with strict adherence to safety procedures.

You will monitor operations via SCADA, document activities in CMMS, and provide guidance to junior technicians.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; electrical certifications or industry training preferred.
Experience in large-scale solar O&M is required.
Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, operating SCADA, and CMMS for maintenance tracking.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on AC and DC systems and components.
Monitor plant operations through SCADA and assist with commissioning and testing.
Follow safety protocols including JHA and LOTO and maintain accurate maintenance records.
Troubleshoot electrical systems and support maintenance as needed.
Lead and mentor junior technicians to uphold safety standards.
