Job summary

Origis Energy is seeking a Solar PV & BESS O&M Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on utility-scale solar PV and energy storage systems in Gainestown, AL. You will follow strict safety procedures, monitor operations with SCADA, and work with remote operators to resolve site issues.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; electrical certifications or industry training preferred.
Experience in large-scale solar O&M; varies by position level.
Proficiency reading electrical schematics, operating SCADA, and using CMMS for maintenance tracking.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on AC/DC systems including inverters, PV modules, transformers, switchgear, and HV components.
Monitor plant operations via SCADA and assist in commissioning, testing, and modifications.
Follow safety protocols including JHA and LOTO; ensure compliance with site procedures.
Troubleshoot electrical systems and support maintenance as required.
Lead advanced troubleshooting across multiple OEM platforms and read complex work procedures.
