Job summary

Origis Energy is seeking a Solar PV & BESS O&M Technician in Gainestown, AL to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair utility-scale solar PV and energy storage systems. This safety-sensitive role requires following protocols and performing preventive maintenance to optimize site performance.

Ideal candidates have strong electrical knowledge, SCADA and CMMS experience, and the ability to work independently. Travel may be required to support multiple sites; a valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have basic electrical knowledge and ability to read schematics.
• Experience with solar O&M operations preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Proficiency with SCADA and CMMS tools for maintenance work.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on AC/DC solar systems.
• Troubleshoot inverters, transformers, switchgear, and high‑voltage components.
• Monitor operations via SCADA and support commissioning and testing.
• Follow safety protocols including JHA and LOTO.
