Job summary

Origis Energy is seeking a Solar PV & BESS O&M Technician in Gainestown, AL, to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair utility-scale solar PV and energy storage systems. This safety-sensitive role requires understanding of solar operations and electrical systems and the ability to work independently while following established safety procedures.

Responsibilities include inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on AC and DC equipment; monitoring plant operations via SCADA; and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; electrical certifications preferred.
• Experience in large-scale solar O&M and industrial maintenance.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and operate SCADA/CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on AC/DC systems.
• Monitor plant operations via SCADA and assist commissioning/testing.
• Follow safety protocols including JHA and LOTO.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and support maintenance.
• Maintain CMMS records and mentor junior technicians.
• Lead advanced troubleshooting and develop work plans.
