Job summary

Origis Energy seeks a Solar PV & BESS O&M Technician in Gainestown, AL. You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on AC/DC systems including inverters and PV modules. You will monitor operations via SCADA and support commissioning, testing, and system modifications.

Work safely following JHA/LOTO, troubleshoot electrical systems, and coordinate with remote operators. Requires high school diploma; electrical certs preferred and prior solar O&M experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; electrical certifications or training preferred.
• Experience in large-scale solar O&M; knowledge of electrical systems.
• Ability to read schematics and operate SCADA and CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on AC/DC systems, including inverters and PV modules.
• Monitor plant operations through SCADA and assist commissioning, testing, and system modifications.
• Follow safety protocols, including JHA and LOTO.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and support maintenance as required.
• Work with remote operators to identify and resolve site issues.
