Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a skilled technician to support operation and maintenance of utility-scale PV plants. You will monitor SCADA, perform commissioning, testing, inspection, and troubleshooting of inverters, PV modules, transformers and switchgear, while upholding safety standards and procedures.

The role requires 2+ years in a related position orJourneyman certification, with a High School Diploma as a baseline; college or technical training is preferred and electrical

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College or technical degree preferred.
• Electrical certifications, state, journeyman, etc. a plus.
• Equivalent training in military, utility, or power industry a plus.
• 2+ years of related experience or journey level certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and operation of utility-scale PV power plants.
• Monitor plant operation via SCADA; commission, test, inspect, repair.
• Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC solar PV systems and components.
• Follow safety procedures including LOTO and JHA; ensure documentation.
• Assist with on-site projects, installations, and performance testing.
