Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a skilled O&M Technician to support maintenance and operation of utility-scale PV power plants. You will monitor SCADA systems, perform commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of PV arrays, inverters, transformers, and metering equipment, while ensuring safety and adherence to procedures.

The role requires 2+ years related experience or journeyman certification, with strong electrical knowledge and CMMS proficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a related position or Journeyman certification.
• Experience in operating and maintaining power plant electrical systems, SCADA and controls systems operation, troubleshooting advanced electrical components, and using procedures to perform equipment preventative and corrective maintenance preferred.
• Electrical certifications, state, journeyman, etc. a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform quarterly KPIs: energy generation vs. plan and maintenance schedules.
• Maintain safe work environment by following company protocols.
• Ensure personal safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Follow Job Hazard Analysis, Pre-Job Brief and Lock-Out-Tag-Out procedures.
• Assist with PM work: measuring, testing, and maintenance on site components.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and assist on-site projects.
