Job summary

NovaSource Power Services seeks a maintenance technician to support utility-scale PV plant operations. You will monitor SCADA, perform commissioning, testing, inspection, and troubleshoot AC/DC solar PV systems including inverters, modules, transformers, and metering.

Candidates should have 2+ years in a related role or journeyman certification, with strong safety practices, CMMS skills, and ability to work independently or with teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• College or technical degree preferred.
• Electrical certifications (state, journeyman, etc.) a plus.
• Equivalent military, utility, or power industry training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and maintenance tasks on utility-scale PV systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot PV plant operations (SCADA, inverters, transformers).
• Comply with safety procedures including Lockout-Tag-Out and JHA.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and prints.
• Maintain documentation and reports in CMMS and Windows environments.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders on site projects.
