Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the operation and maintenance of utility-scale PV power plants. You will monitor plant performance through SCADA, conduct inspections, troubleshoot electrical systems, and perform preventive maintenance on inverters, transformers, and switchgear.

Adherence to safety protocols and accurate documentation are required. The role requires a high school diploma (college/technical degree preferred) and may involve travel to sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College or technical degree preferred.
• Electrical certifications, state, journeyman, etc. a plus.
• Equivalent training in military, utility, or power industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and operation of utility-scale PV plants.
• Monitor plant operation via SCADA; assist commissioning, testing, inspection, and repair of PV systems.
• Follow safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout and electrical codes.
• Assist with on-site projects, inspections, and testing.
• Ensure documentation and reports are completed and filed.
