Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a skilled technician to support maintenance and operation of utility-scale PV power plants. You will monitor SCADA, commission and test systems, troubleshoot electrical components, and perform preventative and corrective maintenance in accordance with safety standards.

Requirements include 2+ years of related experience or journeyman certification, knowledge of electrical codes, and proficiency with CMMS/SCADA tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a related position or Journey level certification.
• Experience operating and maintaining utility-scale PV electrical systems, SCADA and controls systems, troubleshooting advanced electrical components.
• Knowledge of local and national electrical codes and ability to read electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform quarterly KPI-driven maintenance and optimize plant performance.
• Promote safe work environment and ensure compliance with protocols.
• Complete personal safety and quality plans, and adhere to schedule.
• Follow Job Hazard Analysis and Lock-Out-Tag-Out procedures.
• Assist in on-site projects, installations, and quality inspections.
• Ensure all work orders and reports are complete and filed.
• Participate in safety and environmental training; maintain 5S standards.
• Travel as required to support multiple sites.
