Job summary

NovaSource Power Services in Andrews, TX is seeking a maintenance technician to support utility-scale PV plants. You will monitor operations via SCADA, perform commissioning, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of AC/DC solar PV equipment, inverters, transformers, and metering systems.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a related role or journeyman certification, a high school diploma, and strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety procedures, and CMMS usage.

Qualifications

• Certified or qualified to work on electrical power systems and equipment.
• Experience with PV plant electrical systems and SCADA preferred.
• Commitment to safety, procedures, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM work including measuring, reading, testing and maintenance on site components.
• Promote safe work environment by adhering to company protocols.
• Ensure documentation and reports are completed and filed.
• Operate and troubleshoot PV plant electrical systems, inverters, transformers, switchgear, and metering.
• Assist with planning and executing on-site projects and testing.
