Job summary

NovaSource Power Services seeks a Maintenance Technician to support maintenance and operation of utility-scale PV power plants. You will monitor PV operation through SCADA, perform commissioning, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of AC/DC solar PV systems including inverters, transformers, switchgear and metering.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in utility solar O&M, electrical certifications, and strong CMMS/Windows skills.

Qualifications

• Electrical certifications, state, journeyman, etc.
• College or technical degree preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Equivalent training in military, utility, or power industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM work including measuring, reading, testing and maintaining site components.
• Promote safety and adherence to protocols.
• Train personnel in safety, environmental and procedural requirements.
• Coordinate on-site project planning, installations, commissioning and testing.
• Ensure work orders and documentation are complete.
