Job summary

NovaSource Power Services, the world’s leading solar O&M provider, seeks a field technician to support maintenance and operation of utility-scale PV plants. You will monitor plant operation via SCADA, perform commissioning, testing, inspections, and troubleshooting of AC/DC systems including inverters, transformers, switchgear, and metering equipment.

With 2+ years in a related role or journeyman certification, you will join a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a related position or Journey level certification.
• Experience operating and maintaining power plant electrical systems, SCADA and controls systems operation, troubleshooting advanced electrical components, and using procedures to perform equipment preventative and corrective maintenance preferred.
• Electrical certifications, state, journeyman, etc. a plus; military/utility training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform quarterly KPIs such as energy generation, on-time planned maintenance, and support plant efficiency.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to company protocols.
• Ensure personal safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Comply with Job Hazard Analysis, Pre-Job Brief and Lock-Out-Tag-Out procedures.
• Assist with PM work, measuring, testing, and maintenance on site components.
