Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a skilled solar O&M technician to monitor and maintain utility-scale PV plants. The role covers SCADA monitoring, commissioning, testing, and routine maintenance of PV arrays, inverters, transformers, switchgear and metering equipment.

The position requires 3+ years in Solar O&M, electrical safety knowledge, and CMMS proficiency. Travel to sites and supervision of junior technicians may be involved, with comprehensive benefits and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Utility Solar Operations & Maintenance.
• Experience operating and maintaining power plant electrical systems, SCADA and controls systems operation.
• Prior Supervisory experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM work on site components, including testing and maintenance procedures.
• Coordinate on-site planning, installations, commissioning, and inspections.
• Ensure safety and compliance with Job Hazard Analysis and 5S standards.
• Train personnel in safety and environmental requirements.
• Maintain documentation and reports for compliance.
