Job summary

NovaSource Power Services seeks an Technician II to perform on-site maintenance for solar plants and battery storage projects. Responsibilities include replacing components, maintaining inverters, and supporting SCADA systems, with coordination of subcontractors and on-site teams.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and timely repairs, requiring travel and a strong technical background in electrical systems and solar O&M.

Qualifications

Current Electrical License (unrestricted).
High Voltage Switching.
Construction White Card.
Current & Valid Driver’s License.
First Aid (CPR) & LV Rescue.
Australian Work Rights.

Responsibilities

Replacement of key components, such as modules and inverter components.
Maintenance of inverters or associated electrical components.
Work with Engineering team on the SCADA.
Respond to and execute necessary repairs of faulty equipment.
Interface with subcontractors and on-site workers, including inductions and pre-start meetings.
Document work performed with time tracking and CMMS entries.
Adhere to WHS policies and report on safety compliance.
