Job summary

NovaSource Power Services seeks a skilled maintenance technician to support the operation and maintenance of utility-scale PV power plants. You will monitor PV Plant operation through SCADA, perform commissioning, testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying AC and DC solar PV systems, including inverters, PV module arrays, transformers, switchgear, and metering systems.

The role requires 2+ years in a related position or journey-level certification, with a high school diploma

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a related position or Journey level certification.
• Experience operating and maintaining power plant electrical systems, SCADA and controls systems operation, troubleshooting advanced electrical components.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; college/technical degree preferred.
• Electrical certifications, state, journeyman, etc. a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform quarterly PM work, testing, tracking, and maintenance of site components.
• Ensure safety by adhering to company protocols and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Travel as required to service multiple sites.
