Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a maintenance technician to support utility-scale PV power plants. You will monitor operations via SCADA, assist in commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting, and help ensure safe, reliable energy production across site components.

The role requires 2+ years in a related field, a high school diploma, electrical certifications, and strong safety practices. Travel and on-site collaboration with a cross-functional team are expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a related position.
• Experience operating and maintaining power plant electrical systems, SCADA and controls.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and prints.

Responsibilities

• Perform quarterly KPIs like energy generation vs. plan and maintain equipment efficiency.
• Promote safety and ensure adherence to company protocols.
• Own safety, quality and schedule adherence.
• Follow Job Hazard Analysis and Lock-Out-Tag-Out procedures.
• Assist PM work: measuring, testing and maintenance on site components.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support on-site projects, installations and commissioning.
