Job summary

The Solar Field Technician Performance Operations will coordinate all maintenance and repair activities for assigned commercial solar facilities. This role will provide repair recommendations based on costs and potential lost revenue; report all scheduled site outages; and file claims with EPC and OEM for warranty work.

Support project managers on capital projects with site commissioning, quality inspections, and punch list walkthroughs.

Qualifications

Associate or technical degree in electrical, renewable energy, engineering technology, construction management or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
Minimum 1 year in solar operations, electrical maintenance, project management, field service or related technical operations.
Basic understanding of solar PV systems and electrical equipment; troubleshooting and preventive maintenance preferred.
Valid driver’s license is required.
Ability to work independently in field conditions and escalate safety or reliability concerns appropriately.
Travel about 10% to solar sites in the Northeast region.
