Job summary

New Jersey Resources seeks a Solar Operations Specialist to support solar facilities in the Northeast. The role involves maintenance, performance analysis, troubleshooting and coordinating outages with contractors and utility personnel.

You will review equipment data, warranties, and documentation, collaborate with analysts, engineering and project management to resolve issues and ensure compliance with OEM requirements.

Qualifications

• Associates or technical degree in electrical, renewable energy, engineering technology, construction management or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage communications with contractors, landowners and utility personnel.
• Monitor solar facility performance and analyze alarms to identify issues.
• Coordinate outages and track repair and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with EPC, utilities, and OEMs to support maintenance activities.
• Operate and understand installed equipment and ensure OEM warranty compliance.
• Maintain solar facility data including warranties, as-built docs and manuals.
