Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 1) to perform field maintenance and learn safe work practices in the solar industry. This full-time role is located on-site at Coulterville, IL, with discussion of details during interview.

Responsibilities include servicing solar equipment, basic testing, on-call support, and documenting work while traveling up to 10% for training and site coverage. A HS diploma and safety training are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; vocational training is a plus.
• Understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to follow safety guidance and written instructions.
• Lock Out/Tag Out knowledge and NFPA 70e training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safety is the top priority and all employees follow safe practices.
• Service solar equipment at multiple plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing and troubleshooting with monitoring programs.
• Operate and care for company equipment and tooling.
• On-call for emergency repairs and document all work performed.
• Travel up to 10% for training and site coverage.
