Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 1) to perform field maintenance on solar installations. This full-time, on-site role is located at Coulterville, IL, with up to 10% travel for training and site coverage.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, basic electrical/mechanical knowledge, and a willingness to learn safety protocols and use monitoring programs. On-call rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent (Vocational/Technical training a plus).
• Ability to work in mechanical/electrical environments.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety and follow safe work practices on-site.
• Operate and care for company equipment and tooling.
• Service solar equipment at multiple plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing and preventive maintenance of solar equipment.
• Complete on-site documentation and reports.
