Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician, Level 1 to perform field maintenance on utility-scale solar and storage projects. The role is full-time, on-site at a Tucson, AZ jobsite, with training and supervision in place.

Responsibilities include servicing solar equipment, basic testing and troubleshooting, and documentation of work performed. On-call duties may apply; travel up to 10% for training or site coverage could be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; vocational/technical training a plus.
• NFPA 70e Safety Training certification is desired.
• Ability to operate in mechanical/electrical environments and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety and follow safe work practices at all times.
• Operate and care for company equipment and tooling.
• Service solar equipment at multiple plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
• Replace or repair solar parts under supervision.
• Be on-call to support emergency repairs as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports of work performed.
• Collaborate with EPC management on process improvements.
