SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 1) to perform field maintenance and learn safe solar industry practices. This full-time role is based on a jobsite in Ben Wheeler, TX, with location details discussed at interview and a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; vocational/technical training a plus.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must obtain NFPA 70e Safety Training certification.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 10%.
• Willingness to work at remote locations in extreme weather conditions.
• On-call availability; may include weekends or after-hours.

• Prioritize safety, ensuring all employees follow safe practices.
• Work safely under all circumstances and seek guidance as needed.
• Operate and care for company property, equipment, and tooling.
• Service solar equipment in multiple plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting and maintenance tasks under supervision.
• Replace or repair solar parts and/or equipment under supervision.
• Respond on-call to assist in emergency equipment repairs.
• Prepare accurate documentation and required reports of work performed.
• Collaborate on improvements and coordinate with EPC management.
