Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 1) to perform field maintenance at a site-based location. You may relocate to any U.S. site; relocation expenses are not provided.

The role is full-time, with on-call duties and a focus on safety in the solar industry. Responsibilities include servicing solar equipment, performing basic testing and troubleshooting under supervision, and documenting all work completed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with testing equipment and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Stresses safety as the top priority and ensures safe practices.
• Operate company property, equipment, and tooling correctly.
• Service solar equipment in multiple solar plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks.
• Handle on‑call duties as directed by supervisor for emergencies.
• Prepare accurate documentation and reports of work performed.
