Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 1) for a permanent, site-based role at a specific site.

You will perform field maintenance on solar equipment, follow safe work practices, operate and care for company tools, and provide on-call support as directed by your supervisor. Eligible candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, basic electrical/mechanical knowledge, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a mechanical/electrical environment.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must obtain NFPA 70e Safety Training certification.

Responsibilities

• Safety is the top priority and all safety practices must be followed.
• Perform field maintenance on solar equipment at multiple plants.
• Operate and care for company tools and equipment.
• Provide on-call support for emergency repairs as directed by supervisor.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
