Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician, Level 1 for full-time, on-site work in Girvin, TX. Initially contingent with potential to convert to permanent employment. The role focuses on field maintenance of solar equipment and adherence to safety practices.

Responsibilities include servicing equipment, documenting work, and on-call support. Requires basic electrical/hydraulic knowledge and valid driver's license; travel up to 10% may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; vocational/technical training a plus.
• Demonstrated ability toidentify and perform effective Lock Out/Tag Out of energized parts/systems.
• Demonstrated basic understanding of a solar installation/plant.
• Demonstrated basic knowledge of testing equipment

Responsibilities

• Service solar equipment in multiple solar plants under supervision
• Operate and care for company property, equipment, and tooling
• Prepare accurate documentation and required reports of work performed
• Respond on-call as directed by supervisor to assist in emergency equipment repairs
• Assess processes for improvements and coordinate with EPC management on new technologies
