Job summary

SOLV Energy, LLC is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 1) to perform field maintenance on solar, storage, and substation projects. This is a full-time, on-site role located at a jobsite in Ben Wheeler, TX, with safety as the core priority and on-call duties as required.

You will learn to follow safe work practices while performing testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance on solar equipment under supervision, and contribute to documentation and reporting for site projects.

Qualifications

• Able to operate in mechanical/electrical environments and read instructions.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain solar equipment under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Replace or repair solar parts under supervision.
• Respond to on-call emergencies as directed.
• Prepare accurate work reports and documentation.
• Collaborate on process improvements and safety practices.
