Job summary

Sungrow North America is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Riverside, CA to install, troubleshoot, and commission PV inverters, BESS, and related equipment at customer sites and staging yards. You will work under the regional field service supervisor to ensure safe, efficient operation of solar assets.

The role requires 3+ years in a technical field, MS Office proficiency, a valid driver’s license, and 80% travel. OSHA NFPA70e training is desirable for compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering or computer science required.
• OSHA 10 within 12 months of hire desired.
• NFPA 70e within 12 months of hire desired.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, test, and maintain solar inverters, BESS, PCS, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose per maintenance guidelines.
• Pre-commissioning and commissioning tasks at customer sites or staging yards.
• Perform preventive maintenance and LTSA activities as per contract.
• Lead safety and field paperwork, reports, and JSA where required.
• Coordinate with engineering and customers to ensure safe, compliant operations.
