Job summary

Sungrow North America is seeking a Field Service Technician to support commissioning, maintenance, and warranty activities for PV inverters and BESS systems across the Pecos/Fort Stockton, TX region. In this contract role, you will troubleshoot, install, and service solar hardware at customer sites, ensuring safety, quality, and on-schedule execution.

You will travel roughly 80% with flexibility, work with engineering and operations teams, and document field activities, performing

Qualifications

• Associate degree in an engineering or CS discipline.
• 3+ years of work in a technical field.
• 2+ years in solar inverters or BESS is preferred.
• OSHA 10 and NFPA 70e certificates within 12 months of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, test and maintain solar inverters and BESS systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues at customer sites.
• Pre-commissioning and commissioning activities with/without grid emulator.
• Perform preventive maintenance and LTSA activities.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams; complete field documentation.
