Job summary

Granite Construction in Wasco, Oregon, is seeking an entry-level estimator/engineering support to provide technical cost information for large solar projects and ensure adherence to engineering standards during pre-drill, post-installation and module installation stages.

You will assist in preparing estimates, reviewing drawings, and coordinating with field crews to ensure workmanship meets plan specifications and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of scheduling and construction estimating software.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with job controls to ensure compliance with contract, budget, schedule, forecasting and job costing.
• Prepare daily cost reports and project documentation for management.
• Review drawings and ensure field crew follows latest plans and specs.
• Develop quantity take-offs, material lists, labor and equipment costs for estimates.
