Zusammenfassung

Granite Construction is seeking a civil/estimating professional for a Wasco, OR project to provide technical engineering and cost information on solar projects up to 500MW. You will ensure conformity with engineering standards for pre-drill, post-install, tracker installation and modules on large-scale solar projects.

The role covers job controls, cost reporting, drawing interpretation, and preparation of estimates and material checks to maintain accuracy and bid quality.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Eng., Construction Mgmt, or related field preferred.
• 0-2 years in estimating support, engineering, or field work.
• Proficiency with MS Office apps; ability to read drawings and specs.

Aufgaben

• Assist with job controls to ensure compliance with contract, budget, schedule, forecasting and job costing.
• Review and prepare daily cost reporting to project team and upper management.
• Interpret designs/drawings for craft workers; ensure current plans and specs are used.
• Prepare and disseminate documentation records such as status reports and punch lists.
• Provide material controls, delivery dates, schedules, and design requirements to minimize costs.
• Prepare drawings, sketches, and change orders to meet changing job requirements.
