Westwood Professional Services is hiring an Electrical Project Engineer in Colorado to design solar photovoltaic systems. You will lead projects, oversee electrical engineering tasks, and coordinate with various teams. A Bachelor's in Electrical or Renewable Engineering is required, as well as experience in electrical distribution. Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in electrical distribution and general electrical construction.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering portions of commercial and utility scale solar projects.
• Perform electrical calculations and studies such as short circuit and load flow calculations.
• Supervise, train, and mentor interns and junior engineers.

Skills

Electrical power system modeling

Ability to read and create construction drawings

Knowledge of NEC and NESC

Experience with AutoCAD

Strong communication skills

Self-motivation

Experience with renewable energy systems

Education

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Engineering
