Job summary

Sletten Construction Company onsite is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the site Quality Management Plan, establish inspection controls and verify compliance with construction documents and manufacturer requirements. You will direct the field quality team and drive non-conformance investigations to ensure project quality.

The role requires auditable records, coordination with subcontractors, and oversight through mechanical, substantial, and final completions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of quality control/inspection management on utility-scale solar projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and manuals.
• Proficient in maintaining auditable quality records and documentation.
• Safety-minded with attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the site Quality Management Plan and establish inspection controls.
• Direct the field quality team and manage non-conformance investigations.
• Review drawings, submittals, and specs with the Quality Team before phases begin.
• Update Inspection and Testing Plans and templates as needed.
• Review subcontractor quality plans and calibrated equipment for compliance.
• Coordinate audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements.
• Support final project close-out activities and documentation.
• Liaise with contractors and stakeholders on QMS matters.
