Job summary

Georgia Power in Georgia is seeking a hands-on O&M Technician for utility-scale PV solar plants, BESS, and DERs across the state. You will monitor via SCADA, perform inspections, troubleshoot, and repair AC/DC equipment (inverters, Modules, metering, transformers, switchgear, RICE gensets).

Expect 5/8 or 4/10 shifts, with night/weekend/on-call duties. Ideal candidates have a two-year technical degree, EEI TECH test, and experience with MAXIMO and SafeTK.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree from a certified technical institution or military equivalent.
• EEI TECH test qualification.
• Availability for extended hours and on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Travel to and from site locations as needed or be assigned to one site.
• Plan, coordinate, and schedule maintenance activities and projects.
• Execute site operations and maintenance tasks and projects.
• Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment.
• Support Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance and contractor compliance.
• Administer LOTO processes and Use Maximo for PMs, CMs, CDs, Inventory, PRs, POs, and records.
