Job summary

Georgia Power is seeking an experienced O&M professional to support the operation of utility-scale PV, BESS, and DER facilities across Georgia. The role involves SCADA monitoring, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of AC/DC systems, with sites ranging from Twiggs to Ball Ground.

Responsibilities include planning maintenance, coordinating crews, and ensuring safety compliance, including LOTO. Candidates should be prepared for variable schedules, night/weekend work, and on-call duties as

Qualifications

• The candidate must live within an hour drive of site.
• EEI TECH test qualified is required.
• Two-year technical degree or military equivalent.
• Available for extended hours, nights and weekends.
• Available for call-out to support operations.
• Flexible, proactive, and team-oriented.
• Experience in Solar or BESS plant maintenance preferred.
• MAXIMO knowledge preferred.
• Contractor compliance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to site locations regionally or statewide as needed.
• Assist planning, coordinating, and scheduling of maintenance.
• Execute site operations and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment.
• Facilitate Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance.
• Ensure contractor compliance at sites.
• Serve as LOTO administrator and facilitator.
• Use Maximo for PMs, CMs, CDs, inventory, PRs, and records.
