Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of Python or comparable language.
• 3+ years building or integrating APIs, services, or data workflows.
• 2+ years in SQL, preferably BigQuery, with advanced techniques.
• 2+ years with Kimball dimensional modeling and ETL tooling.
• 2+ years with Airflow/Cloud Composer and Python for ETL.
• 1+ year with BI tools such as Superset, Looker, or Power BI.
• 1+ year in Git, code review, and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain software across Python, SQL, and workflow code.
• Translate requirements into technical tasks; collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and HR partners.
• Participate in code reviews and write automated tests for business logic and data contracts.
• Build BigQuery transformations and models following conventions.
• Implement workforce metric definitions in SQL and BI integrations.
• Document changes affecting reported numbers and obtain owner approval.
• Develop and maintain Airflow workflows and deployment tooling across environments.
• Support safe releases through review, validation, rollback, and incident processes.
• Keep documentation current and help modernize the Workforce Insight stack.
