Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Software Engineer to develop and operate the Workforce Insights analytics platform. You will work on Python services, SQL transformations, and BI integrations, partnering with data and HR experts to translate requirements into reliable code, tests, and releases.

You will contribute to BigQuery transformations, Superset datasets, and deployment tooling while upholding security and data governance.

Qualifications

3+ years of professional software development.
3+ years Python or a comparable language with tests.
3+ years building or integrating APIs, services, data workflows, or production systems.
2+ years advanced SQL experience (BigQuery preferred).
1+ year with GitHub Actions or CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain Python, SQL, and workflow features.
Translate requirements into technical tasks with data engineers, analysts, and HR partners.
Write automated tests for logic, data contracts, and integrations.
Build and maintain BigQuery transformations and models for the product.
Contribute to Superset datasets and BI dashboard integrations.
Ensure security, data governance, and quality throughout releases.
