Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Software Engineer in Hanover, Maryland to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems used in capstone analytics and data processing. You will review components, implement features, and ensure integration with back-end repositories and front-end dashboards.

The role requires seven+ years of Java experience, Spring/JEE expertise, and RESTful design, with a TS/SCI poly clearance.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of relevant java programming experience including at least two years of java 1.7+
• One or more years of experience using Spring and Javascript
• Two or more years of JSP and servlet programming experience
• Two or more years of experience with JEE and enterprise web application design and development
• One or more years of experience designing and writing REST-ful applications
• Ability to create and deploy applications in an Apache Tomcat web server

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements
• Resolve software problem reports and document results
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or environments
• Develop data queries for databases or data repositories
• Write or review software and system documentation
• Lead the team at the appropriate level for the project
